Growing Kindness in Schools with Cheekee Hero

At Cheekee Hero, we believe kindness is more than just an action — it’s a movement. It can look like many things: a Goodee Bag packed with love for a child in hospital, a smile offered to a classmate who’s having a hard day, or even taking the time to listen when someone needs to share their story.

When tamariki see kindness in action, they learn that they, too, can make a difference — no matter how small the gesture may seem. These moments ripple outward, helping to grow rangatahi who are compassionate, community-minded, and brave enough to stand tall for others.

Across Aotearoa, small grassroots charities like ours are doing just that: creating brave, big-hearted ways to uplift whānau and nurture connection. But the real magic happens when schools join in.
