At Cheekee Hero, we believe kindness is more than just an action — it’s a movement. It can look like many things: a Goodee Bag packed with love for a child in hospital, a smile offered to a classmate who’s having a hard day, or even taking the time to listen when someone needs to share their story.
When tamariki see kindness in action, they learn that they, too, can make a difference — no matter how small the gesture may seem. These moments ripple outward, helping to grow rangatahi who are compassionate, community-minded, and brave enough to stand tall for others.
Across Aotearoa, small grassroots charities like ours are doing just that: creating brave, big-hearted ways to uplift whānau and nurture connection. But the real magic happens when schools join in.
Schools are more than classrooms — they are communities. They are the places where tamariki practice empathy, discover their strengths, and learn the values that shape who they will become. When kindness is embedded into school life, it empowers every child to see themselves as a hero — someone with the power to uplift others.
We’d love to connect with schools across Aotearoa to explore what kindness could look like in your kura. Every school community is unique, and we want to help shape something that works for you and your tamariki.
