In Schools
Building Community Lead Stories
The Cheekee Tales In Schools programme empowers young minds to create original works of art & literature.
We believe tamariki, rangatahi and their whānau with different abilities hold the power to connect with others, amplify resilience and create change by leading their own stories.
Cheekee Hero represents unheard voices through storytelling. We believe storytelling is a superpower that can transform the lives of those who need it most. Every tamaiti (child) has a unique story to share, and by sharing these stories, we can foster a greater understanding of the challenges faced by tamariki and their whānau. Cheekee Tales in schools is our commitment to help harness the brilliance of young imagination and bring their original works to life though creative technology and combining the collective power of all charities and organisations that represent persons with neurodiversity disabilities and illnesses.
Cheekee Tales in schools is our response to ensuring all abilities are valued, with a focus on inclusivity and empathy.
It is our ambition to be the movement for which empathy inclusion and belonging is realised. Empowering entire communities.
